I have been asking myself this question: “What is a geoduck?”, and even though i have seen one, I am still completely amazed by them. A geoduck is one of the the ugliest and strangest things I have ever seen. It looks like a cross between a worm and a clam. It is found on the pacific coast of the US and Canada. It has become sort of a hobby by many, who like to go out and try to capture these poor geoducks.

A geoduck is pronounced gooey-duck, and they are harvested in the US and shipped to China to be cooked and eaten in restaurants. I don’t know who would want to eat one of the geoducks, but I don’t think they look very appetizing.
