Port Fourchon is an energy and commerce center in Louisiana, and it is being affected by Hurricane Gustav. The flooding caused by the hurricane has blocked the only road to Port Fourchan, making it hard for travel and evacuation near Port Fourchon. This is a horrible predicament and hopefully the National Guard will be able to fix this. The Hurricane is slowly but surely moving through the coast and will hopefully be over soon.

Port Fourchon is not the only area damaged by Hurricane Gustav, as it continues to batter the coast, it has caused millions of dollars in damage, and it has just only began. Hopefully, Hurricane Gustav will not be as bad as Katrina, and at least we will be more prepared this time.

My heart goes to those that have been injured or heart broken by this horrible storm, and to those at port fourchon that are trapped or have lost property.
